SDC Investimentos is a holding and investment management company with interests in the real estate business area, mainly in the office and tourism segments, and indirectly through financial participations, in the areas of construction and venture capital; it  also intervenes in the acquisition and sale of credits, in the provision of management services and in the coordination of business activities.

The scope of its intervention and the expression of the businesses under management have been, mainly since 2012, strongly conditioned by the objective of restoring its financial sustainability, which has determined: i) the establishment, in 2014, of a partnership in the construction area which, through an increase in share capital, has led to the loss of majority ownership status in Soares da Costa Construção SGPS, S.A., in which SDC Investimentos now holds a 33.3% stake; ii) the sale, between 2012 and 2017, of some real estate assets and the totality of assets in the infrastructure concession area;  and iii) the resolution, under several modalities, of almost all bank financing liabilities in 2017.

The acquired experience and know-how, which results from a relevant and long-standing presence in the real estate, construction and concession business areas, enhances the valuation of assets which remain under management and encourages the development of new investment opportunities.
